As per the latest fare revision communicated by the local boat associations, the Elephant Beach boat fare will be ₹1,250 per person from 1st September 2026, compared with the previous fare of ₹1,000 per person.

Why Has the Elephant Beach Boat Fare Increased?

According to the fare-revision notice, the change has been approved considering increases in operational, maintenance, fuel, and safety-related costs associated with providing boat transportation services to Elephant Beach.

The revised fare is to be implemented by members, ticketing counters, and tour operators from 1st September 2026.

Also, please note that snorkeling is not included in the revised boat fare of ₹1,250 per person.
